Join other students at the University of North Georgia’s Academy to develop your leadership skills, STEAM knowledge, critical thinking skills, and understanding of American culture and history! You will have the opportunity to prepare essays, develop your discussion skills, tour public and private universities, and partner with American students in daily cultural, social, and sporting activities. All this takes place on a campus that is welcoming, respectful, one hour from Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounded by the natural beauty of mountains, streams, and forests. Whether you are in class interacting with a professor or visiting important historic and cultural sites such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, Jimmy Carter Library, Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the CNN Center, you will develop deeper knowledge and skills for university and create lasting memories and friendships at UNG’s Academy.
